Is Your Business Lost on a Lonely Highway
YOUR ONLINE BUSINESS ON A 2-WAY STREET
Speaking about your online business, are you on track or are you about to derail?
I was just thinking about a time in my life when I was young, full of energy and (had no direction). Actually, at the time, I thought I had direction but as time played its hand, it would be proven otherwise.
What direction are you taking? This song popped into my head: (Stacy Lattisaw – I found love on a two way street ) Actually, this is the recording that I remembered and danced to: (The Moments – Love On A Two Way Street. ) You might want to go and listen to both versions of this song. Recently, another group made a recording using this beat with another song.
The reason I would like you to listen to this song and think about the words related to your online businessis because a thought process in one part of your brain might be beneficial to creating success with your online business.
In the song, these lyrics are stated: I found love on a two way street but lost it on a lonely highway.
Does this even have any reverence to your business? Maybe it does. I see our online business as an extension of ourselves. When I thought about the words, I realized the emotion of the feelings. My first recollection of this song was when I was at a party during High School. I do not recall who I was dancing with but the words hit me because the young lady I was dating couldn’t make it to this party. I felt lost.
Have you been in this Virtual World (for lack of a better word) long enough to wonder what you are doing when your family and friends think your nuts?
YOUR ONLINE BUSINESS IS YOUR ROADMAP ON THE LONELY HIGHWAY
When you start a “work at home” business opportunity, you will find what level of support your family and friends are. One of the things I have noticed is people that are experienced in the offline business world have a tad bit more support from people they know. (Notice, I said a tad bit more support!)
Your online business becomes a LONELY HIGHWAY when you start moving in other directions that those close to you do not know. This is when you have to rely on what I call your gut feelings. When you have made the decision to move in this direction, you have to rely on yourself (and now people that you do not know). This can be scary at first but as you drive down this highway, you will get better at recognizing who you can depend on and who you need to walk away from.
